Description

FAUN recovery crane, Kibri 13010, H0

The assembly kit reproduces a powerful heavy rescue truck on the FAUN HZ chassis with a Bilstein hydraulic crane for evacuation and lifting of heavy equipment.

The model features a movable jib crane, folding outriggers, a detailed heavy-duty chassis and a FAUN cab.

After assembly, the crane can be raised to the working position; the design provides for the demonstration of transport (folded) and working (raised) modes.

 

Prototype: FAUN HZ 36.40/45 heavy chassis series with a diesel engine of ~365 hp (268 kW) and a Bilstein K12500H hydraulic rescue crane. The maximum payload of the prototype is approx. 12 tonnes and the working height is up to ~11 m - these data are reproduced in the kit's specification and help to properly integrate the model into a diorama of service, military engineering or rescue themes.
