New River Mining Company - Kit, Main Building, Walthers 933-3017
This H0 (1:87) scale model kit represents a real-life prototype of a coal mine typical of the 1950s, many of which are still in use today.
The model features realistic corrugated metal construction, steel supports and separate stairs and ladders.
The New River is designed for loading hoppers on three tracks and can also be adapted to load coal trucks.
A conveyor with supports is included, which can be run underground to the mine or to a remote main entrance.
