This plastic model kit in H0 scale (1:87) represents a real prototype of a machine shop typical of the late steam and diesel eras. The model can be assembled as a stand-alone building or as part of a complex with the Modern Roundhouse (933-2900, sold separately). The kit includes a boiler room that provides steam, electricity and compressed air for the entire facility.

The model is equipped with a large sliding door that can be set in the open or closed position. The base plate has slots that accept popular rail sizes. The model is cast in matching colours with transparent glazed windows
