Steam Locomotive BR 086, DB, Roco 7100019, H0
After the end of World War II, 386 BR 86 locomotives were in West German territory. Most could be restored, so by 1952 the DB had 378 locomotives of this class. Some 86s later received welded replacement water tanks. Their duties included not only the classic branch line services but also regular fast train operations and shunting in freight yards. The last machines were retired from DB service in 1974, designated as class 086.
