Steam Locomotive BR 95, DR, Roco 7100008, H0
The BR 95 was the most powerful tank locomotive ever procured by the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Nicknamed the “Mountain Queen” due to its operation on steep and challenging lines such as the Spessartrampe and Frankenwaldbahn. After World War II, 31 locomotives of this class were incorporated into the DR, with boiler equipment and cabs largely standardized. Some machines were converted to oil firing, and the last units remained in service until 1981.
Features of the model:
- Version with old-style boiler without bell
- Highly detailed model with many separately attached parts
- Oil tank with ladder
- Freestanding boiler piping
- Fine metal wheels and textured running boards
