Rotary Snow Plow Beilhack with Sound, ÖBB, Roco 71003, H0
The Beilhack self-propelled snowplow from the Austrian railway company ÖBB-Infrastruktur from the VI era.
This model is highly detailed and equipped with numerous digital functions, such as raising and lowering the snowplow, rotating the propellers, and rotating the platform 180°.
The actual prototype, which was put into operation in 2019, is powered by two 12-cylinder MAN engines with an output of 793 kW (approximately 1,100 hp) each: one for driving the machine and the other for the snowplow.
The snowplow is capable of processing up to 10,000 tonnes of snow per hour with a throw range of up to 40 metres and can travel at speeds of up to 100 km/h during transport.
The model has a length of 190 mm between the buffers and a minimum turning radius of 358 mm.
The model is equipped with a PluX22 interface for connecting a digital decoder and has LED lighting with three digitally switchable front lights.
