Set of figures ‘Steam locomotive driver’, Noch 15281
The set of figures of locomotive drivers are depicted in the typical black uniforms and black caps of the time. As the work on the so-called ‘steam horses’ was very hard and smoky, black work clothes were recommended.
The drivers stand in a typical pose and could be used in pairs. The driver on the right in the driver's cab raises his hand and looks out the window. The driver on the left controls the steering.
Unmanned locomotives are unattractive and unrealistic on railway layouts without a driver, so steam locomotives can be realistically decorated with drivers.
The set contains six hand-painted plastic figures for H0 gauge (scale 1:87, height approx. 2 cm)
