Diesel Locomotive BR 120 with Sound, DR, Roco 71779, H0
A Class 120 diesel locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR), known by the nickname ‘Taigatrommel’ (Taiga-drum) due to the characteristic loud sound of the engine.
A total of 378 units of this series were purchased between 1966 and 1975.
Initially, it was used mainly for freight transport due to the lack of heating for passenger cars. Later, mufflers were installed to reduce noise.

- Particularly detailed reproduction of bogies.
- Free standing handles for manoeuvring under the buffers.
- Individually switchable front or rear lights, digitally controlled driver's cab and engine room lighting.
The model is equipped with a digital decoder with sound and lighting function, which allows you to reproduce realistic sound and light effects during operation.
