Rix Highway Overpass for H0 Scale
This model is based on the bridges built in the 1930s–1940s to cross over railway tracks. This type of bridge was used all across the country and is very familiar to most people.
The Rix overpass consists of spans approximately 17.5 cm long (6-7/8") and about 8.7 cm wide (3-7/16"), corresponding to 50 prototype feet (≈1524 cm) in length and 25 prototype feet (≈762 cm) in width. The spans interlock, allowing you to build a bridge of any desired length.
The piers are designed to be adjustable so that the bridge can be raised or lowered to different heights as needed. The maximum height is about 14 cm (5-1/2"), making adjustments quick and easy.
Includes: piers, beams, railings, and roadway.
